France is one of Europe’s most secular countries, with Bible-believing Christians making up less than one per cent of the population. Most students that Daniel and Kate meet identify as atheist and have never even held a Bible before. They make major life decisions without knowing the author of life. Nevertheless, students often have more time flexibility and a greater intellectual curiosity than at other times of life, making university a key time to reach out to people with the gospel. As a staff worker with the GBU, an evangelical student movement, Daniel trains and disciples university students. Kate is involved in projects with their church and connecting with the local community.
